December 08, 2025 - 03:40 AM Welcome back to Top8. I have been taking walks again. Thank god the weather has cooled off. December is one of my favorite months. I just turned in my last final for the semester on Friday night, so I am feeling the humanity return to my body. I had a pretty normal, cool Saturday and then went out for some Mexican that night. Got to see some WTSQ people for a few minutes and then went home and fell asleep without worrying about turning in anything. I have no idea if I am even going to pass this semester, but I am just so glad it's over. I've been trying to experiment with some very quick meals recently. I cook almost everything I eat more or less from scratch, so quick can be a relative......

November 24, 2025 - 02:25 AM I got these frozen samosas and the airfryer directions were talking all about "preheat the fryer to 350F, cook for 8 minutes, then shake the basket and heat an additional 3 minutes at 420F…" Baby. Does this look like a fucking Michelin star resturant? Ima throw these samosas into this air fryer along with a handful of tater tots and for 12 minutes on 390F because that's the temperature that god saw fit to make the default airfryer setting on this thing. I am not shaking shit. But I do have some amazing tracks. Please join me in rocking. Snocaps - Coast I cannot express to you how much I love this self-titled album by Snocaps. This was a surprise drop from Alison and Katie Crutchfield. A whole new band from these two brilliant sisters who have been on-and-off collaborators over the years. Early on the sisters had The Ackleys, and then P.S. Eliot. Katie went on to form Waxahatchie, while Alison created Swearin' and later her own solo act. They are back together and joined here by M.J. Lenderman......

October 13, 2025 - 07:49 AM Welcome back to Top8. I really need to learn how to mend clothes. Both pairs of leggings I have have, seemingly overnight, developed holes – one of them catastrophic. Given that I really can't sew or mend or anything, I was thinking that it would be rad if I could just pay someone to do it. But that would end up being $50, and for $29 I can buy a new pair. I can't fix the throw away, disposable society by myself, so I try not to be too critical of my own actions or inactions here. Still, it's frustrating.
